Regio 2026: The dates are set

The offseason is drawing to a close, and things are getting serious for the Mad Bulldogs Amberg: The schedule for the 2026 Regionalliga season is official. After an intensive winter preparation phase, it's now clear when and against whom we will play this year.
For us, the Regionalliga SĆ¼d (Southern Regional League) will once again present a real sporting challenge in 2026. We are looking forward to a schedule with a total of ten matches, including exciting derbies and strong competition.
American Football Amberg: The home games at the Schanzl
Five times this year we'll transform our stadium in Amberg into a football arena. Here are the dates for American Football Amberg, where we're counting on your support:
May 3rd (3:00 PM) vs. Munich Cowboys II: We start our home game season at home against the Cowboys' second team.
May 10th (3:00 PM) vs. Nuremberg Hawks: The first of two neighborhood derbies in May.
June 6th (4:00 PM) vs. Neu-Ulm Spartans: A physical opponent against whom we have often seen close games in the past.
July 11th (4:00 PM) vs. Nuremberg Rams: A real highlight in the height of summer against the Rams.
July 25th (4:00 PM) vs. Landsberg X-Press: Our last appearance in front of a home crowd this season.
Away through southern Germany
This year, we also want to show what we've worked on in training, even on away pitches. The opening match in April will be particularly crucial.
April 19th (3:00 PM): @ Nuremberg Rams ā Our 2026 season opener.
May 16th (3:00 PM): @ Nuremberg Hawks ā The return match at the Hawks' stadium.
June 27th (4:00 PM): @ Neu-Ulm Spartans ā The Journey to Swabia.
July 18th (4:00 PM): @ Kirchdorf Wildcats ā A long trip to an experienced opponent.
August 1st (4:00 PM): @ Fursty Razorback ā The end of the regular season.
Tickets & Gameday
Those who want to be there live won't have to wait much longer: Our ticket shop will be online in just a few days. We will inform you here and via our social media channels as soon as the presale starts.
In addition to the sporting action on the field, we are already working with our partners to offer you the usual gameday experience. We look forward to having another great time at the Schanzl together with the fans.
