Time to flip the switch!

Football is a tough sport – and sometimes it gets rough off the field too. Let's not kid ourselves: our start to the regional league season was a classic false start. But when you're down, you have to get back up. And that's exactly what we're doing now.

The bare numbers don't lie: four games, four losses, 38 to 168 points, and last place in the standings. On top of that, our head coach unexpectedly left immediately after the opening game, which understandably caused quite a stir and distraction within the roster.
But that chapter is closed. Internally, it's been dealt with.
Calm and focus on the field
With Heiko Müller, our previous offensive coordinator has taken the reins – and he will deliberately lead the team until the end of the season. We don't need any further experiments or new external disruption, but rather full concentration on our football.
The fact that this plan is working and we're slowly finding our rhythm was demonstrated in our last game against the Nuremberg Hawks. After the crushing 7-57 defeat in the first leg, we showed a completely different body language on the road and only narrowly lost 7-21 after a hard-fought battle. Our offense is noticeably gelling with our new quarterback, Devon LeSure, who has been distributing the ball for the last two games.

The mission: to avoid relegation. The time: now.
We knew this league, with its former GFL teams, was a real shark tank. But hey, we've only played four out of ten games. The season is still long, and our goal of staying in the league was clear from the start and is absolutely within reach. To achieve that, we need to start racking up wins quickly.
Saturday: Cauldron of excitement at the Schanzl!
We had the first opportunity for this turnaround on this Saturday at 4:00 PM at our home ground against the Neu-Ulm Spartans . Yes, they're coming in with their heads held high after beating the league leaders, the Nuremberg Rams. It's going to be a tough fight, but we're not hiding from anyone and we're confident we have a chance of winning!
And we have some really good news for you fans: The front stand at our renovated Schanzl stadium is expected to be completely empty again! That means: Finally, the full gameday experience and plenty of space for you. (By the way: Our construction solution with the 96-meter pitch and the new safety zones is running absolutely smoothly and has even received high praise from the league and the referees!).
🏈 GAMEDAY INFO: SATURDAY PREMIERE! 🏈 Saturday Football: For the first time this season, we're rolling out the pitch for you on a Saturday ! Grab your friends and kick off the football weekend with us on Saturday afternoon.
