The Amberg Mad Bulldogs are the American football team of TV Amberg and have been playing in the Regionalliga, the third-highest league in Germany, since 2023. Founded in 2016, the Bulldogs quickly developed into a strong team in Bavaria, with successes such as an undefeated promotion from the Landesliga and Bayernliga and a Bavarian Bowl victory. The Mad Bulldogs are known for their fierce team spirit and strong defense and are supported by a large, enthusiastic fan base at home games at the Stadion am Schanzl.

The DAWGS, which includes both experienced players with a GFL background as well as young talent and American athletes, have high ambitions. The Bulldogs offer their players comprehensive support on and off the field and organize regular tryouts to develop new talent from the region. Supported by our dedicated fans, we pursue the goal of permanently establishing ourselves as a top team in American football.
