FINAL AT HOME! Amberg to host Bavarian U16 Championship at short notice!

Sometimes things need to happen quickly – and sometimes sport simply writes the best stories!

We have exciting news: The Amberg Mad Bulldogs have been appointed as the new hosts for the final tournament of the Bavarian U16 Tackle Championship at short notice!

Why Amberg?

The final was originally supposed to take place in Bayreuth. Due to pitch problems (unplayable condition) there, the championship and the season highlight for the four best teams in Bavaria were in jeopardy. When the call came, we as a club didn't hesitate and stepped in. It was a matter of honor.

The grand finale will therefore take place this Saturday, November 8th, here in Amberg!

A dream season turns into a home game!

What makes this whole thing even better: Our own U16 team is also involved!

For our boys in the joint team (SG) with the Bamberg Phantoms and Bamberg Bucks , this is an absolutely dream season. In their very first year, they have qualified directly for the final of the top four teams in Bavaria.

And now? Now, thanks to this postponement, they get their "home final"! They'll play on their home turf, in front of their fans, for the Bavarian title. Goosebumps!

This will be no walk in the park. We welcome the absolute elite of the U16 teams from Bavaria to Amberg.

SG Ansbach Margraves / Franken Knights (Rothenburg)
Königsbrunn Ants
Aschaffenburg Stallions
...and of course our boys from SG Amberg/Bamberg/Bamberg !

Our U16 team has played an incredible debut season and more than deserves this final. They now need the best support Amberg has to offer!

Let's create an amazing atmosphere! Spread the word, bring your friends and family, come along and make some noise! Let's show the visitors what Amberg football support means and cheer our team on to the title!
