Last game day of the season

We're approaching the final game day of the season – and the prospects couldn't be better. Next Sunday, we'll host the Munich Rangers at the Stadion am Schanzl. The visitors from the state capital have yet to win a game – and we want to keep it that way.

With four wins from eleven matches so far, we've held our own in the league. And even though we have a lot going for us on paper, we know: In football, nothing can be taken for granted. We learned that the hard way last Saturday in Neu-Ulm. After an outstanding first half and a deserved lead, we still let the game slip away.
The turning point came shortly before the end of the second quarter: Our defensive back Dustin Manera suffered such a severe injury during a tackle that the game had to be suspended for over 20 minutes. Dustin was taken to the hospital – and we lost focus. The Spartans mercilessly exploited this uncertainty. The final score was 55-38 for Neu-Ulm.
But: We're back. We've digested the shock and are looking ahead. We want to make a clear statement against the Munich Rangers – athletically, emotionally, and as a team.
For some of us, it will be a very special game day. Like every year at the end of the season, it's time to say goodbye. Some players will be leaving the team or hanging up their pads for good. Among them are some of the Bulldogs' true veterans who have been with us since the very beginning.
It's all the more wonderful that we can celebrate this moment together: We expect many former DAWGS to be at the stadium for Homecoming Day – they have free admission and are cordially invited to be part of our last game day of 2025.
Kickoff is at 3 p.m., doors open at 2 p.m. This time, the coin toss will be performed by none other than Amberg's mayor, Michael Cerny. And at halftime, the Emotion Dance school will get the crowd pumping with their halftime show!
So come on over, cheer us on, and experience the last football Sunday of the year with us. Let's go, DAWGS!
