Looks like we’ve found our groove. For the second week in a row, we locked down a win on our home turf – and this one was loud: A massive 66-7 blowout against the Passau Pirates.
We came out swinging. First play of the game? Touchdown. Two-point conversion? Clean. That opening drive set the tone – we wanted this win, and everyone in the stadium could feel it. Our defense shut things down early, barely letting Passau gain any ground. They slipped through once at the end of Q1, but that was the only time they saw the endzone all day.
Meanwhile, our offense was in full flow. QB Matthew O’Meara kept connecting with our guys – DJ Hall and Anthony Green were absolute machines out there. Deep balls, quick routes – you name it, they caught it. Respect to Passau for showing up with just 25 guys, but with injuries piling up, things quickly tipped in our favor. We hit halftime up 36-7.

Both coaches agreed to shorten the second half – it was hot out there, and nobody was mad about a little mercy from the sun. But shortened quarters didn’t slow us down. Two more touchdowns in each, and the scoreboard said it all: 66-7.
Funny side note – our OC Heiko Müller promised the guys a BBQ if we won by more than 60. We landed exactly on 59. Sooo close, coach. Our pyro crew was probably even more relieved – we were running low on fireworks with all those touchdowns.
Now it’s two more games to go: Next up, we hit the road against the second-place Neu-Ulm Spartans. Then we close the season at home against the winless Munich Rangers.
We’re not done yet. Eyes on the prize.
Let’s go DAWGS!
