Kirwa, football and the big chance

On Sunday, it's that time again. We're coming into the stadium. At Schanzl Stadium. At home. With everything that comes with it: the fans in the stands, the smell of bratwurst in the air, and that thrill you only get when things are about to get serious.

But this time everything is a little different. This time it's Kirwa Game Day . And this time it's not just about football – it's about making a statement.

Our season so far? Two wins. Five losses. And yet: we haven't given up at all.

We know what the table looks like. And yes, a record of two wins from seven games isn't what we had in mind. But when you're on the field with us, you realize that these numbers don't really reflect what we're capable of.

We fought. We made mistakes. We learned. And we grew as a team.

Our head coach Dany Emmanuel and our offensive coordinator Heiko Müller work hard every week to make us better – not just on the field, but also mentally. And we know: The knot can burst at any time. Maybe even on Sunday.

The opponent: Landsberg X‑Press – top team, no question

Landsberg is at the top of the table. They're strong, well-rehearsed, and experienced. But they're not unbeatable.

With the right energy. With the right attitude. And with the fans behind you.

Kirwa Gameday: Football meets folk festival

On Sunday, we don't just celebrate football—we celebrate our homeland. Our culture. Our community.

Suckling pig, bratwurst, beer from the Winkler Brewery, and live brass band music during the parade entrance – this will be a day for all the senses. And if you come in traditional costume, you'll only pay half the admission price . Children under 12, as always, go free.

We look forward to welcoming families, curious first-time visitors, old friends and anyone who is looking for a truly special football experience.

We need you

If we're honest, the league table doesn't reflect what we earn. But that's okay. Because what drives us isn't reflected in statistics.

It's the feeling of being on the field together. The voices from the stands. The moment when the defense gets a stop. When the ball lands in the end zone. When the stadium shakes.

That's what we're playing for. And that's exactly what we want to experience with you on Sunday.

Come early, bring friends, wear traditional costume, or come as you are. The main thing is that you're there. Let's make this game day special together.
