Gameday becomes Blue Light Day

Our home game against the Passau Pirates will be exciting beyond the sporting aspect—we'll be celebrating our big Emergency Services Day with you. A day full of football, emergency services, and family activities awaits you.

Free entry for emergency services – and lots to discover

With the Blue Light Show, we'd like to say thank you to everyone who serves our community. Firefighters, police, BRK (German Red Cross), THW (Technical Relief Agency), and the Bundeswehr ( German Armed Forces) – anyone wearing uniforms, working clothes, or with a volunteer ID card will receive free admission .

Various organizations will be presenting themselves around the stadium with emergency vehicles, information booths, and interactive activities – an experience for visitors of all ages. L'Osteria Amberg and AKÜ will be there with promotional booths, providing refreshments and entertainment.

We're especially excited about the fact that, for the first time, there will be a DKMS typing station . With a little luck, anyone who gets typed can become a lifesaver—a small gesture with a big impact.

Sportingly explosive: We want the home win!

There's a lot at stake in the sporting arena, too. We're currently in fifth place in the Southern Regional League , with our guests from Passau just behind in sixth . In the first leg at the beginning of May, we put in a strong performance, celebrating a 65:12 away victory . Now we want to build on that in front of our home crowd – with your support!

After our 31-24 win against Landsberg and a committed performance in the return match, we know that with focus and team spirit, we can win even close games. Our quarterback Matthew O'Meara , running back Denzel Howard , all-around player DJ Hall , and our defense around Kendrik Harper and Anthony Green are ready to give it their all.

But we are by no means taking Passau lightly: With the experienced duo of Andrew Griffin and Taivaughn Roach, the Pirates can be expected to have explosive plays at any time.
