Spannende Neuigkeiten: Die Mad Bulldogs möchten ihr Angebot um eine weitere Facette erweitern – eine Erwachsenen-Flag-Football-Mannschaft! Damit schlagen wir ein neues Kapitel auf - mit einer Variante unseres Sports, die ab 2028 sogar olympisch sein wird!
Flag Football, die kontaktlose-Variante des American Footballs, bietet eine aufregende und dynamische Spielweise, die für Spieler jeden Alters zugänglich ist. Anstelle von körperbetonten Tackles setzt der Sport auf Schnelligkeit, Taktik und präzises Ballspiel. Spieler tragen Gürtel mit Flaggen, die von den Gegnern gezogen werden müssen, um den Ballträger zu stoppen. Diese Variante des American Footballs ermöglicht nicht nur eine spannende Spiele, sondern eröffnet auch Neueinsteigern die Möglichkeit, sich in den faszinierenden Sport hineinzufinden. Unsere neue Flag-Football-Mannschaft wird nach den Regeln der German Flag Football League (GFFL) spielen. Die GFFL steht für Fairness, sportlichen Wettbewerb und eine professionelle Organisation. Die Teilnahme an dieser Liga ermöglicht unseren Spielern auch die Teilnahme an Wettkämpfen.
Wer kann mitmachen?
Wir sind auf der Suche nach interessierten Sportlerinnen und Sportlern, die sich dieser neuen Herausforderung stellen möchten. Egal, ob du bereits Erfahrung im American Football hast oder ein kompletter Neuling bist – bei uns ist jeder willkommen! Was zählt, ist die Leidenschaft für den Sport und der Wille, als Team erfolgreich zu sein. Gemeinsam möchten wir eine Mannschaft formen, die nicht nur auf dem Spielfeld, sondern auch außerhalb zu einer echten Familie wird. Das Team wird als gemischtgeschlechtliche Mannschaft aufgebaut. Mindestalter ist 19 Jahre.
Wichtige Hinweise zur Teilnahme
Es ist wichtig zu beachten, dass Spieler, die für die Saison 2023 bereits im Besitz eines Spielerpasses für die Tackle-Seniors sind oder bereits am Training der Seniors teilnehmen, leider nicht die Möglichkeit haben werden, Teil der Flag-Football-Mannschaft zu werden. Dies ermöglicht es, klare Linien zwischen den beiden Disziplinen zu ziehen und so unterstreichen wir den Stellenwert unserer Regionalliga-Mannschaft.

Who wants to play flag football?
Exciting news: The Mad Bulldogs are looking to add another facet to their offering - an adult flag football team! We are thus opening a new chapter - with a variant of our sport that will even be an Olympic sport from 2028!
Flag football, the non-contact version of American football, offers an exciting and dynamic style of play that is accessible to players of all ages. Instead of physical tackles, the sport focuses on speed, tactics and precise ball play. Players wear belts with flags that must be pulled by opponents to stop the ball carrier. This variant of American football not only makes for an exciting game, but also gives newcomers the opportunity to get to grips with this fascinating sport. Our new flag football team will play according to the rules of the German Flag Football League (GFFL). The GFFL stands for fairness, sporting competition and professional organization. Participation in this league also enables our players to take part in competitions.
Who can take part?
We are looking for interested athletes who would like to take on this new challenge. Whether you already have experience in American football or are a complete newcomer - everyone is welcome! What counts is a passion for the sport and the will to be successful as a team. Together we want to form a team that becomes a real family not only on the pitch but also off it. The team is built up as a mixed-gender team. Minimum age is 18 years.
Important notes on participation
It is important to note that players who are already in possession of a player pass for the 2023 season for the Tackle Seniors or who are already participating in the training of the Seniors will unfortunately not have the opportunity to become part of the Flag Football team. This will allow us to draw clear lines between the two disciplines and emphasize the importance of our regional league team.
